The long-awaited grand opening and dedication of the Amado Youth Center was held Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, on the grounds of the new facility just west of the Sopori Elementary School campus in Kay Stupy Park.
The center is about 2,500 square feet and includes a large central meeting and activities area, office spaces, unisex bathrooms, and state-of-the-art accommodations for all modern technological needs.
The building's exterior design is also very modern and constructed from metal and composite materials said to be virtually maintenance-free for 30 years or more.
